Yo it was a pleasure meeting everyone.
Great turnout with the exception of bad weather but that's the Northwest for ya.

Hope we all can meet-up again, perhaps at a track or a tunning session.
Latta.

Blow Me?
It was good times, we should do it again soon. I should have my boost controller back from Greddy this week and hopefully will get my shifting sorted soon so my truck will be a little more fun next time.

For anyone wondering what was up with the oil that shot out of my exhaust at startup PTE said that the rear turbo seal can leak a little oil into my exhaust before it's warmed up, especially under high oil pressures. I'm still running summer weight oil (20-50w) and noticed this just started happening when it got colder out so I'm going to switch to 5-30w this week which will hopefully get rid of the problem.

See what the BC does to that thing! I'm still wondering if that 2800 stall is going to be to low for that turbo and why shift points varry so drastically with the TC locked vs. unlocked.

Keep us posted and if you are in town let me know we can try to grab a burger or something.

I think the 2800 stall converter will end up being allright, CJSyclone had good luck with it. I just unplugged the lockup this morning and realized that my shift points haven't changed, I just don't like them. With the lockup unplugged it shifts at the same points, but the effect isn't as bad. With the lockup plugged in the 2-3 shift occurred at 5k and the rpm's dropped to 3k which pulled the motor out of it's powerband. With it unplugged the shift is still at 5k (I'd like it later) but at least the converter slips enough to let the engine stay up at 4k in third so it still has some power. Feels much better now, I can't wait until it's shifting around 6k!
