The day my truck got hit it was having some problems with the wastegate. i did a datamaster run on it and the wastegate is always at %100. im still making 14-16psi, but it stinks like crazy so im sure the WG is stuck open. the night before it happend i hit 20psi a couple times and thre code 31 twice.

is it the solenoid? thats my only guess right now, and i wanted to see what everyone thought...

define "stink".

If youre talking about a rotten egg smell out of the exh then the WG has nothing to do with that. Over boost/low boost yes. The rotten egg smell is a rich mixture which has to do with fuel press, TPS, CTS, and O2.

adjust you wastegate rod..

do you still have the stock cat and muffler? if you delete the cat you may run into overboost problems.

Use an air compressor and get an ajustable air regulator run the (OUT) line to your wastgate

Set it at the pressure you want your wast gate to open mabe a .5psi higher

AT WALA! your set at the psi you want

rubber hose ant zip ties HELP

so your saying i should leave it busted, but adjust it to a good spot?

and no not stock exhaust. 3" turbo back with dump. but at my altitude i never ran into overboost problems even with the dump open. and its been like that for months :(

no!

no!

What I'm saying is just a way to pre-set waste gate at a pre-determend psi

I've got a 3" w/o cat &bullet muffler never had a overboost pro. either
