Water on passenger side foot area

is it weather stripping? i have no idea where its coming from but everytime it rains the passenger side of the floor gets soaked. the only spot in the whole truck. anyone know what it is?

yep, mine does the same thing. Im 99% sure its from water collecting the the cowl where the wipers are, then seeps through a crack or rust hole somewhere in the firewall. Next time I pull my front end off Im gonna inspect it, flood the cowl with a hose and see where its comming in at, and go from there.....

damnit thats not what i wanted to hear. it wouldnt be a big problem, except its been raining for the past 2 weeks. :x

that give me an idea at least. i'll jump on it here in the next week and let you know what i find.

I have another thought. The heater/AC gets it's air from the cowl. When it rains, or you wash the truck, that water has to go somewhere. In my experience there is a cowl "drain" near the front of the cab underneath on both sides. Not sure where exactly on the Sy but it has to be there. If that drain is plugged then the water is going to come into the cab somewhere.

Just a thought.

Another thing to check is the hood hinge gasket. I got leaks when they dried out. New ones are an improved design, with an extra little flap that helps seal it better.
