anyone know what Code 0 is? :lol:

I wasnt planning on doing anything with my Ty anytime soon, but I had a few mins here at work today so I dig out my trusty paper clip I kept in my ash try and figured I would pull the codes and see what exactly is wrong.

To my surprise, I couldnt even get the Code 12 to flash, infact it wont flash at all, it just stays lit the whole time with or without the paperclip :lol:

So Im guessing the ECM and/or Memcal is fried for starters, in which case Ill be going back to stock injectors and ATR chip since it never ran right on the 50#'ers anyway.

Ill probably grab an ECM off someone local the next time Im at their house and if that solves the problem, look into purchasing one later.

I know a couple people were asking about it at Nats, so thats the latest news :tup:

my truck wouldn't flash codes at all once and it was the memcal not being seated all the way.
Once we removed and reinstalled the chip it was fine.

In your case I would assume the ECM is toast and is unable to perform the ALDL self test.

Tim is borrowing my extra ECM.. he is also further south than I am.. if you want to meet up with him you are more than welcome to use it for as long as you need.

ok, we'll work something out, Im in no rush. I actually have some parts to give someone out there so maybe Ill take a drive one day and visit, I know tara misses me. :lol:

Ill probably check all the simple stuff before I do any swapping just to help diagnose it, but I just didnt have the time to pull everything apart. Ill probably just wait till i get the ECM and do it all at once.
