What´s wrong ?

I have changed my generator to a new one and now 1 week later it´s not charging the battery???!! but it worked for a hole week.................. :roll:

maybe the battery is just toast and won't charge???

Did you REALLY run down the battery the first time the alternator went bad? In my Saab, the voltage regulator died so it wouldn't charge and it ran the battery SO low that it smoked one of the cells. I charged it, it worked for about 2 days then was completely flat. Fully charging the battery would allow me to turn the engine over about 4 revolutions before it would be dead again. The charging system is pretty dang simple. Battery, alternator, regulator.......
