true that. I hate x-mas trees .

I would've done it today, but had spend most of the day at the hospital with my grandma, cause her stubborn ass tried to put her christmas tree in the attic by herself.....
Besides, not like it's gonna move till march/april anyways....

Started tearing down for all sorts of new parts. All new bushings up front, with new inner/outer tie rods, pitman arm and idler. ZQ8 and Jeep shaft as well. Gonna fix some leaking hoses while all that is out of the way, too. Already miss driving it.

I can send some of our snow over to you... Then you could really miss driving the TY.:rotf:

I understand y'all have plenty over there! Holding on tight to our light dusting of snow, wish there was more. It's winter, right? :p

Finished modifying the battery box to lower it 2" for better turbo inlet clearance.
Routed a new heater hose through the fender.
Re-routed and cleaned up the battery/stereo/MSD cables.
Added all the fluids and fired it up for the first time since end of April!!!
Set the timing and now I'm looking for leaks--nothing obvious so far.
Toimorrow, start tuning. Everything is new,...

Made some remote oil cooler lines for the LSx swap today.

Glad to see that the turbotime pan will work. I really didn't want to take out the motor again.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Installed the remote oil filter adaptor without the cooler lines today.

The aluminum radiator I bought has brackets welded on it so it would fit inside the core panel. But for these brackets to work the A/C radiator would have to be removed.

Well I am not giving up my A/C. It gets to hot around here. So I started grinding the welds off to remove the brackets. It doesn't look like it will be a problem to get some brackets welded on in new locations. So the radiator can be mounted were it needs to be.

May have to reinstall the Taurus fan instead of the clutch fan. There will only be 4" between the radiator and the water pump pulley.

Installed my propshaft safety loop earlier this evening. The rear driveshaft safety loop will be tomorrow...was getting a little too dark and chilly under the truck to finish it tonight.

I made it along with my friends help at their machine shop. Not sure if they want to make just one again, but I can ask. We made it out of 6061 with a TCI Transbrake button. If there's interest, I'm sure that would bring the cost down.

Depending on price I may be interested in one......

Finished my propshaft loop and driveshaft loop installation this afternoon. Pretty straightforward even though the propshaft loop was kind of a PITA to get started...LOL
