Installed my engine tie-down. I made the mistake of getting the chrome one (which looks great). Now I feel compelled to buy a matching alternator...:squint:

Ty trans pan starting leaking, so dropped it and went ahead and changed the filter while I was in there. Somewhat worked out since I damaged the temp sensor in the pan for the gauge and wasnt reading anymore. Had a spare sender, so got to swap it out as well.

To top it all off, the battery is dead on it now so thats up next.

Gave the Syclone a wash to make myself feel better.

Had the windshield replaced this morning. Something I been putting off, but finally got the chance to get it done. It was so pitted that the guy looked through it when he took the old one out and said, "Yeah, connect the dots here..." :rotf: Later on in the afternoon, I did the upgrade to the Johnson pump and removed the metal coolant lines and replaced them with heater hoses. It was dark when I got it all back together and I was tired of fighting the night bugs attracted by my halogen worklamps, so I cleaned up and put it away for the night. Also said a few choice words to her as I was working...LOL

New:
MSD Cap & Rotor
PCV Valve
Serp. Belt
Air Filter (Had a stock box in it. When taking the air filter off, noticed that the end of the tube had broken and what was left wasn't long enough to reach the box and be able to be clamped on. Went down to AutoZone and got a Fram circular filter to put in temporarily until I decide if I want to relocate it to the passenger side or keep it on the drivers side...It's a good fit for now).
Replaced the Sony Xplod CD player with a JVC that has a connection so I can use my BlackBerry for my music.
Replaced factory stock 6x9's with a set of Kenwood 6x9's that were in a repossessed Mustang we had sitting out back. They don't sit flush unfortunately. The top screws are in + the ashtray screws, but bottoms won't go in at all. Going to try and find a different set of speaker grilles to cut and mod. Keeping everything that I take off of the truck so that I will always have the stock parts, so don't want to mod the grilles that are in there now.

On Monday will be replacing the plugs, wires and fuel filter. Was going to do those today but things got kinda hectic at work and don't wanna be sitting here at 8pm with the truck 1/2 apart.

Nah. Manage a car dealership. That's how I got ahold of the JVC and 6x9's (and the 200watt amp that's going to be powering the Kenwoods as well) ;)

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

After I did the Johnson pump and lines, I finally got the chance to wash and wax my Ty. Didn't get the chance to do the interior, though. That's tomorrow's project. Snapped this quick pic of it tonight.

Brought her home for the 1st visit in 6 years. Had to move her for the family's big yard sale next weekend. They'll be storing stuff in the shop, so I moved it.
