I know the fog lamp relay sits up near the fuse panel and isn't attached to anything. Look for the grey coloured wire loom. I'm not sure on the rear hatch but would guess in the same area as I hear mine click from that area.

Yep. Long story, however to make it short, RR (no longer in business) did some weird things that I'm still trying to fix.
Even my attempt to go online and order new BFGoodrich drag radials failed, since the company decided to discontinue my tire sizes. Just wasn't my "day" ....yuck!

Yep. Long story, however to make it short, RR (no longer in business) did some weird things that I'm still trying to fix.
- The glass rear hatch has a button on the dash which doesnt do anything (click, pop or make noise). :tdown:
- The key fob does seem to work if operated to open the rear glass hatch. :squint:
- One diagram "says" the liftgate control relay is behind left side of I/P)...which means nothing to me
- Another reference manual suggests that a relay may be in the console (but I'm not sure that operates the rear glass hatch). Another picture mentions a rear window release relay that's near a fuse block and parking brake switch connector
- One diagram says to look at the convenience center (where the horn relay and hazard flasher unit reside). But I don't see a fog lamp relay.
- Ive traced the wires from the engine compartment, through a gromment and the only wire inside (to the fog lamp switch) seems to pick up power from the radio.

The fob is known for being junk, well more so, the receiver. The relay for it is somewhere around the console. thats why you may remember back in the day with stock setup it clicking close to you when you pressed the dash button.
the fogs have the relay on firewall. by brake booster. Whats the prob? 1 or both fogs inop? a lost ground on the left can knock out both, and a lost gnd on right can kill it. plus you have 2 connections, that a re hard to get to on the front that can possibly cause problems.

Your hatch circuit is intact because it works with the fob (RKE). There is a 2-wire connector behind the cig lighter. Orange and brown wire. Wires break-out with the cig lighter. The button plugs into these wires. I would start by checking the button connector.
For info: The hatch relay is a white box taped to the main harness about 4" back from the fuse box. Orange, orange/black or tan/blk, and big black wires.
Fog lights:
I'm thinking you can't find the fog relay because it isn't there.
Looking at your previous thread, did you find the car-side of the 2-wire connector over the brake booster? If not, there probably isn't any wiring or relay inside the car. The fog light harness is a stand-alone harness that follows the other dash wiring. What does the switch plug into? If nothing, the wiring has been removed....? The switch has a 3" pigtail on it that plugs into the fog light harness under the dash.
See if you can locate the wiring the switch plugs into. If you can't, I can make up a harness for you, or hit up Aaron to find you a fog light harness from any 1st gen with fog lights during his junkyarding, or Tom probably has one too. . It's all plug and go, if you have incandescent headlights. If you've gone to HID's, there's a mod that has to be made.

(ignoring the thousands $$$ in cash, meals/lodging at my house, and traveling expenses paid for their attendance, which together could have bought several trucks) not to mention lost dreams/hopes.
At least no major organs were lost in the process, though I haven't really looked.

P.S. I learned a battery trick this month for AGM Types (like optima) which fail to take a charge and appear as dead;
connect a normal battery in parallel with jumper cables, then connect a charger up to the AGM Battery. In a couple of
hours you can disconnect the jumper cables and continue charging the AGM battery. Then any $10 floating trickle charger
will maintain the battery.
