where is the timing spark control

i have a 92 typhoon and i scan in the computer the computer give me a code and the code is te timeming spark control module i look and i cant find please help

Did the computer report a code 43?

code 42 and 43 say the computer

42 and 43 are knock sensor and/or ignition module located under distributor cap.

im already change the module inside of the distributor and erase the old codes and still have the same code(43) ,when i check in the book this code say is the esc module but i can find in the motor

The drawing in my service manual supplement shows the ESC knock sensor on the back of the engine behind the driver side valve cover just ahead of the transmission.

Change the knock sensor... If you remove the coil you can get easier access to the knock sensor. Take a look where powercat is describing... It is to the right of the oil pressure sender and has a single wire plugged into the top of it.

90% chance an autostore will give you the WRONG knock sensor giving you the same code again.

Jeff is right. It happened to me the first time I changed mine and then when I checked the other parts stores they also had the wrong part number.

Hopefully someone on here knows the correct part number. If nobody post the correct part number I will search around and find the box for the one finally found that was correct. I saved the box so I would have the part number.

Electronic Spark Control Module its not the same part knock sensor or they sales me the wrong part

The ESC module and the Knock Sensor work hand and hand. Change it...
