which tranny?

I have a 94' silverado with a 4.3 v6. I know its not a sy/ty but it has the 4.3 and this is the only place I have found where people know that motor really well. I am wondering which 4 speed tranny will work best for it. I have a 700r4 on it right now but its kinda klunky. I dont know if I should get a different tranny or get a shift kit for the 700r4. I am only 16 so I dont wanna spend a ton of money either. If a shift kit would be good which one? I also want a 4 speed tranny. Im gonna run a b&m mega shifter or a lokar shifter with it. And what stall converter would be good for the street and strip?

Is that a stock motor ?
The 700 can handle all you power you can give to it. Buy a shift kit and it will be more agressive @ shifts. Whats the current stall speed ?

currently its a stock motor, minus a hypertech chip, but its not gonna be stock for long, I dont know what the stall speed is, and which shift kit is the best? I have seen many on ebay for like 35.00 buy it now.
