So why not do one.......i've found a few threads but never found one were a meet actualy took place......anyone is up for the challenge?:roll:

Au contraire! We got a few trucks (okay, three...) together a few years ago when I cruised (back) to L.A. Used to hang at Bob's BB all the time with the Grand National, but it's still a zoo over there and unless you get there at 4:30 pm, you'll be on the street and not in the lot. It's a good time, but you gotta get there early.

Don't make me come back there to organize a meet!!

Silveradoss.com, Performancetrucks.net, are planning a cruise and meet in March. They said feel free to invite other truck forums so I think we should join in on that. There going to all meet in San Pedro, then cruise down to Hunnington Beach state park and the meet will consist of a BBQ on the beach. I'm up for that, I should have the truck done by then.

Gangbangmalloy invited us here and I would have made it but my new wheels didnt arrive in time and my so I couldnt make it but it looked fun as hell. Nothing wrong with a drive up the coast and maybe hitting up neptunes net.

I think I would be driving through there along with Dave P I think, then Dave mentioned a couple other names I don't remember as of now... But the more SYTY's in a line the cooler! If you don't mind the miles I would just drive:tup: unless your trying to set a record at the 1320 then there may be a reliability issue!

Definitely don't mind the miles, as I bought the truck to drive. My main concern is that I will be running on E85, and don't think there would be much availability along the way to Denver and back. Other than that, I wouldn't be breaking any world records, but do plan on pushing her pretty hard to see what she's capable of.

I think my Ty can handle about 15 hours of freeway.........


we still have time to make sure most trucks (that are driving there) can make it out there safe.....

hopefully mine already has its new all white shiny paint by then :roll:

We used to have meets all the time about 3-4 years ago. A lot of trucks have been down though. Mine was down for a few years and Z SKI's truck is down. Mikel2000 and killerrudy have also been around for a few meets but I know Mike has been working on his truck. Hopefully we can get something together when we all have working trucks. :lol:

I should have the block back and fully machined with all the internal parts in about 3 more weeks. Its taking a bit longer than I expected (of course) but in 3 weeks it should be assembled and in pretty quick! That block has very little wear on it, but the machinist had to hot tank it longer due to a bunch of buildup in the water jackets that he thinks is from running straight water in it too long. I guess the previous owner didn't like Anti-Freeze!
