my typhoon will not start I have swapped ignition modules, coils, new plugs gapped properly, checked fusible links. fuel pressure is good. If I take the power conection and ground it from alternator to chassis damn thing starts right up. I have also removed alternator from the connections. i have swapped old parts into my syclone and it works flawless (as flawless as it can). any suggestions i have just snugged up connector from start solenoid also

Youd be suprised sometimes that's why I asked buddy but then again what do I know ?

Are you sure the wire you say is the power is actually the power not the ground wire that goes on the intake bolt by the alternator. They could be confused when you redo your intake gaskets or any upper engine work.

Yes it's the power off of alternator it was an accidental discovery but it works all the time

well after pushing Ty back to garage with my neighbor (two blocks) I talked to Nolan and decided to go with a distributor swap , thanks to calgary SS (Gordon ) for the ditributor and Matt for the schematics as well as the many texts, truck fired up this morning without a hesitation. Its good to have so much info close to home. thx guys first few rounds at nats are on me for sure.
