Wood Trim Dash kit....

bought my truck about a week ago and it had this trim kit on it... not sure I like it... what other options do I have if I wanna replace it?? where can I find them at?

isn't it just a stick on kit? you can probably just peel it off, but don't expect to not take some paint/plastic from the dash w/ it.

I agree though...its fugly. Right Dennis?

All of that woodgrain kit is held on with 3M adhesive and it really sticks. It'll take you some time to get it all off without damaging your dash. I think heating it up with a hair dryer while you pry on it will help. It won't be reusable/resalable once you get it off. I have a few corners that WON'T stick like it should :rant: but overall I like the look of that kit. Mine is very similar. The darker shades like yours and mine look good but the lighter woodgrain colors clash bigtime with the stock gray. To each their own I guess.

yea i was gonna say....give it a year or two and i'm sure some of the edges will start to pop up...making it easier to yank off :lol:

Its something different. I kinda like it. Wouldnt do it. But if I bought a truck that had it I probably wouldnt take it off. Unless it did like Crazy said "The darker shades like yours and mine look good but the lighter woodgrain colors clash bigtime with the stock gray." :dunno:
