I have a non syty rebuild (pretty sure it is not a syty unit, but don't know for sure) with the B&M shift kit in it. shifted perfect when removed about 2 months ago. Located near Philly.
Looking for a used trans I can just swap for my busted one. Any help would be appreciated=]
If I dont find one soon, look for a cheap Ty in the for sale forum

used transmissions scare me, but if you do find one cheaper by time you pay to ship it it'll cost you trice as much.
let me know, maybe you steve and me can round trip it in a afternoon.

I am going to be doing a 4L80-E swap, so the one in my truck will be for sale soon as well. Original trans out of a 1991 S10 4x4. 106,xxx miles on it, although it was gone through at 78K.
I will give you warning if your interested:
1) I haven't driven the truck in quite some time (I wouldn't sell it to you, and I wouldn't expect you to buy it if it turned out to be junk)
2) It is still in the truck, so I would have to pull it
3) It had begun to slip from second to third (would chirp the tires when I got on it)

Sounds good, but still undecided. I just moved on the 3rd and went to get my furniture out of storage and the place had been flooded, all my stuff was ruined and moldy. So I have to buy all new furniture.... Trans might have to wait, or I'm selling.. When it rains it pours...

Who knows. I had no heat or hot water either until this morning. Its been a rough couple of weeks.

stock 700-R4 rebuild done by the previous owners trans shop in Chicago. It was done before I bought the truck. It was a daily driven 4x4 that occasionally pulled a couple wave runners - so it was stressed, but I doubt any real "work" went into the trans.

Was my DD. Moved back to the city so I could take the L to work. Trans went out 3 days before I moved
I like the idea...... but if I can sell it for 5k I'm letting it go
.... sorry to hear man , id offer boost27 $500.00, if he bites on that id stab it in there and take it easy on it till you can rebuild yours. is that your daily driver ?
