WTB: Syclone (20k-50k miles)

Hello All,

Like the title says, I'm looking at buying a Syclone. Prefer a truck located in the southeast, but willing to travel / ship. I'm located in Raleigh, NC (27615).

Looking for an excellent condition Sy with or without mods. Not looking for a project truck.

Willing to pay market price. Please pm me if you have any leads or have one you are interested in selling. (I am watching the current eBay Sy's).

I may be open to a higher mileage Sy that is fully sorted out and in excellent condition mechanically / cosmetically.

Thanks in advance!

Re: WTB: Syclone (20k-50k miles)

I just forwarded via email the information pertaining to one being sold on Craigslist in Miami. I have not seen this truck but it looks clean and according to the add it has 23,800 original miles. It has been for sale for a couple of months as not everyone has $22,995 for a '91 truck. If you do come see it let me know and you can also come see mine which has around 32,000 original miles.

Welcome aboard.

Wow you just missed that one in Denver for 22k that had 12k 1 owner miles. It's on egay right now for like 36?k

Hang out here for a minute, something will pop up and usually you will have somebody local that can help you out prepurchase. If you find one, post up the VIN here because somebody may already know the truck's history, ect.

I have one that is in excellent condition. I'm located in Arizona but moving to Georgia in 6 weeks. Stock turbo and all parts but the motor has forged pistons and rods with arp hardware. Also a fast ecu is installed with all msd ignition products. 98k miles and I can text pics, the trucks perfect.

Re: WTB: Syclone (20k-50k miles)

Hey,

My truck, SY 1563, is still here in Aiken, SC waiting for me to finish installing the pitman arm ( a P.I.T.A. since steering gear has to be removed) and detailing. 36,100 miles.

Progress has been slow due to helping my wife realize her dream of opening her own business but this week I did install a new serpentine belt and both the idler pulleys over which it runs--the one for the tensioner and the stable idler pulley. Both were factory and I can't believe the stable idler pulley was plastic so I replaced it with a metal one. The one on the tensioner was metal from the factory but the bearing spun a little quickly for me. Anyway, both are now new.

I will certainly keep you posted; I should be done and have pics up in a week or so.

Best,

Craig

I found a local truck, but the owner decided to keep the truck.

Still looking.
