The R34 is band from the US the R33's and R32's are not hard to get my friend here in washington has a R33 GTst and i think he payed $18,000 for it..

Again..Sean M. can say for sure...but the R34's are not banned, simply not of the legal age period to be imported yet. This may have changed since I don't keep up with the importation regs anymore.
Sean is who invited me to the Orange County Nissan dealership to watch the new R35's unveiling. Super cool dude and I've yet to meet anyone else thats more knowledgable about any years of them.
Everyone is steering you in the correct direction. I've got the RB26dett full awd drivetrain and axles,brakes etc. from a late R33 along with HKS 650hp cams and gears.800cc injectors and all the basic build up laundry list.
You'll be able to easily build a higher than stock hp car thats reliable....just takes good contacts.

I am here. R34 GT-R started in 1999. You can't get close to a US - non federal legal - aka state legal R34 GT-R for less than about $60k.

Federal car - ex Motorex car expect to pay from $80k-$100k.

Kaizo was doing kit cars, charging about $75k for them. Kaizo is no longer importing any kit cars. Right now everyone is a bit hands off on it all, as the cars that were seized scared everyone .

price wasnt a concern, just looking to get the fully loaded Vspec R34 Gt-r sometime in my existance, The syclone came after waiting about 5 years, i figure il find the right skyline sooner than later, a few federally legal ones have shown up for sale, just not local enough

because i would like to see and drive the car prior to buying it, not just shell out money and no i cant just drive or fly out to look at any car in the country, work doesnt like that

When looking to shell out more than 40k for a car. Paying a few hundred bucks is nothing on airfare. Imaging how many people say I'm interested in in your car and would like to take a test drive. To later say " i like it but i can't afford it right now".

um a couple hundred is a couple hundred when its considering that all of them are on the west coast and it would take at least 2 trips both ways thats even if i get to drive it, we are talking i have the money because i work, not because i take off work. before everything got settled and then having it shipped across country so no its not cheap and its not just a couple hundred when looking at maybe 3-5 different cars that are similar and then making a decision from them.
