ZR1 tire sizes

I got a set of 17" ZR1 wheels and trying to figure out what tires sizes to use and what brand. I measured the wheels with the back 12" wide and the front 10" wide. Do I need any spacers? I dont know offsets but from measuring from the back of wheel to front there about the same as the stockers.

275/40/17 and 315/35/17 No spacers needed,but you will have to cut 1/2" off the axle studs on each side to get the center caps to fit.

I thought since we are awd we have to have the same side wall size. For the studs I already put the wheels on with out tires had no problems with center caps.

If they were all the same width,that would be true. The 275/315 combo each turn 802 revolutions per mile,so even though the sidewalls are different sizes,they are really the same.

This was the case with my oem 17inch rims..

ya, and just FYI, the wheels are actually 9.5" wide and 11" wide, you cant measure lip to lip, you have to measure seat to seat.

Oh I see what you are all saying. You talking about the end of the cv shaft right?

what are the largest wheels you can get?

would you be able to fit 18" x 11" rims?

I am going to lower the car as well.

Hey finely getting these wheels on and was wondering what's the best tire pressure to run and where can I get lung nuts that look nice. Thinking Autozone or napa.
