Re: 700R4 only works in 1st That is the second cause listed for 1st gear range only - no upshift in the service manual I am looking at. The first is governor valve sticking. Is there any trick I can do without opening the transmission up to possibly unstick it? Something to hammer :) ?

Re: 700R4 only works in 1st I didn't mention that the loss of 3+4 was sudden. I ran to redline in 3rd without slippage, adjusted the wastegate, ran to redline in first and then no more gears. There were no loud noises or anything (at least that I could hear over the exhaust).

Stock intercooler flow Stock intercooler flow I just measured mine the other day and it flowed as follows: 240 cfm @ 28" H2O 209 cfm @ 20" H2O Which means that even as low as 4500 rpm you'll be experiencing at least 1.5 psi of pressure drop across the intercooler.

I talked to Flex-a-form and they said that the tape issue is an old one and they no longer recommend it, they just haven't removed the it from the instructions yet.
