ATR 7th Injector...... HELP ??

I recently purchased a donor ty... I am rapping the parts off it for mine... on this was an UNinstalled ATR 7th injector.. anyone have any install info on it ??? I am sure I can use this for when I am under hard accel I hit fuel cut and go real lean... haven't beat on her since...

can't help you with the install, but from what i recall of old posts, it's pretty much useless. :dunno:

I'm sure others will chime in with real info :tup:

7th Injector = NO!!!!!

It killed my truck and it took over a month to get it running right... in fact it STILL isnt running as good as it should... stay away from that freakin thing, trust me! Get some 50# Injectors and an ostrich...ftw

it just doesn't make sense anyways. as off as air distribution is in our intakes why would you spray fuel in there?

I knew a guy in japan running Two extra injector dumping right behind his throttle body and says it worked GREAT especially at high boost !!

I had one that came on my Sy when I bought it. Took it off within the first month.

Put it on ebay, you'd be surprised what it would sell for there.

Well ok then... junk it is... but I still can't find anyone to help me tune this pig... that's why I have been trying to get more fuel.. I have bigger injectors, fuel pump and regulator but still lean... I have posted a request for help, but I got nadda...

Get a pump, and use it to spray alky. This is where most people put their alky jets, anyway.

If it remember right, it had settings where you could get it to turn on at a set boost level, then it ramped up from there.

How big are your injectors? there are a few things you can do but if you don't have the right stuff its going to be imposable to get it right.

I would rather pay a pro to tune it right, then take it from there.. I would like to do it myself in the end, but I like my truck to much to risk f-in it up.. As far as what the truck has, I also need a pro here, I was told she had a bunch of mods that were not there and I found some that were not listed ( I bought her as the 232nd owner)- j/k

Hey you might want to just get it running the way it should first then mess with that 7th injector if you want too. I see that most people use an alky system, probably easier than the 7th injector stuff, I remember reading about it when the SyTys first came out.
