I hate to do this since I just bought the truck but I lost my job and something has to go. Im trying to figure out what my truck is worth and to see if any of you guys might be interested in it before It goes to Ebay.
It is a 93 # 1766. The truck came from New York and was bought at an auction as a theft recovery so it has a rebuilt title. To my knowledge it is an apple red originally but was painted raspberry some time ago. The clear coat is pealing in many places and will need to be repainted. It has one spot of rust on the truck above the rear window the rest of it is very clean with only alittle surface rust starting below the doors and tailgate. When I bought it the owner claimed the truck had a bad headgasket and had some parts taken off the front of the motor. Since it was started I tore the top of the motor down and installed new headgaskets, intake gaskets, and valve cover gaskets. Also installed a new distributor with new cap and rotor, new plugs and wires. The truck came with the wrong radiator so I bought a new radiator, and all fresh coolant. New waterpump and a new belt tensioner. It is stock except for a flowmaster muffler, aftermarket CD player, Grant signature series steering wheel and Corvette wheels. I did drive it down the road to make sure everything works and it goes down the road great but It will need new gaskets in the turbo before it can be used on the street. The gaskets are shot and its shooting oil into the motor so its puffing smoke. I have not started it up since. It has only 82k miles on it. The interior is dirty but in good condition. The console lid is broke like most and the driverside window wont roll down. I never looked into it so I dont know if its the switch or the motor. Im sure Im missing somethings so if you have any questions just ask and Ill help you out in any way I can. And no I will not part the truck out. This could be a nice truck again for someone who has alittle time. And if I can find a new job soon Ill just keep it for myself cause I really like the truck.Pics can be seen here.
