Hi,

What are the opinion about the stock fuelpump? Have been looking at the ATR dual pump thing but found this at MSD Anyone using it?

Thrash the stock pump and go for the ATR, or be lazy and add on the MSD box?

"Fuel Pump Booster
Adding a turbo or supercharger to your engine is a great way to improve the power of your car. But you have to remember that when more air is being pushed into the engine, the need for additional fuel raises proportionally. Meeting these new fuel demands could mean larger injectors or ECU programming, both which can be pricey. This new Fuel Pump Booster is the economical (and easy) answer for your engine’s new fuel demands.
The Booster will supply the electric fuel pump with increased voltage in relation to the manifold boost pressure. As boost pressure increases in the manifold, the MSD Booster will increase the voltage to the electric fuel pump. The amount of voltage is adjustable with a potentiometer from a range of an additional 1.5 volts to a maximum output of 22 volts over a range of 5 – 30 psia. "

the fuel pump is one of the weaker links in the system, so I'd replace it
the dual pump might be over-kill depending on your game plan for mods

do a search on this board for the Walboro 255 fuel pump. This is a proven part and will support a pile of HP and there a re a couple of guys on the board who sell
it fairly cheap.

Is it the weak link because it breaks or it's just not pumping enought liters ?

First thing I'll do is running beefier wiring too the pump so the volt drop will be as little as possible.

alot of both :)

how old the pump is might be a factor as well (origonal = too old)

go with the walboro in tank unit. get it either from ron gregory at auto performance, or from mike lee at race proven motors. that pump on ebay is from mike lee.

also look into the racetronix fuel pump harness. supplies 12v to the pump so you don't have to worry about voltage drop. look in the tech articles for the racetronix how to. i also know they sell a complete kit with fuel pump.
