Re: ** Homecoming Itinerary **

Sorry guys but Friday night Test-N-Tune is all we can do this year.
They may give us our own lane to run again each other but this doesn't guarantee any more track time.
Gates open at 4:00PM until 10PM $25 to Test-N-Tune $15 Crew/Spectator.
How many want to do Test-N-Tune? I need to get a count to tell Milan for setting up the lane.

I am 50/50 on coming at this point, but would race if others are going.

Re: ** Homecoming Itinerary **

Problem with milan is ever since Pinks all out and the NO et races they dont really want to rent the track unless you are willing to pay big dollars, Milan is more than double all the other tracks in the area

Track rentals are expensive regardless. Hard to justify with 10-20 syty's racing. Nats kindof revolves around the track day, not that it makes it any less expensive.

Re: ** Homecoming Itinerary **

Since this is a 1.5 day event, I'd skip the track. There was enough Saturday afternoon "fun" at the last Homecoming, personally I don't think a "day" at the track is necessary. Just my opinion. I don't think anyone was disappointed last time (watch the video's) and if the "situation and options" are the same this year, it will be a blast all over again.

BTW, the same crazy kids still work at Unlimited Truck?

Re: ** Homecoming Itinerary **

It would be nice to have a TnT lane just for us, but NOT for that much $$!

I'd offer it to people - head over to Milan for Friday night TnT, pay your $25, and do your thing. The caravan leaves for there at 3 o'clock. If people want to go, then we go. If they want to just come in and relax, whatever.

I'm in for track time....always am!

Re: ** Homecoming Itinerary **

25.00 for test and tune is cool... I'm down for cheap. Most guy's don't run and the track is empty anyhow at the last Sy/Ty events I've been to.
I'll go to test and tune Friday night and beat on the Camaro. :)

Like your new avitar there QB.. No No Mr. Superman.. I know that show all too well. :)

Re: ** Homecoming Itinerary **

I think the first year milan was 1200 they want close to 4 or 5k now

BG was $5k. :( Definitely not worthwhile unless you actually have a lot of people utilizing it...i agree with friday night Test n tune....makes way more sense.

Will I need a battery cutoff switch to race at Milan? I have a battery cutoff switch installed, but to make it work (shut off a running truck) it will take me about 2 hours, I am not sure if my truck will be race ready for low boost tuning, but if it is I would like to make some runs.

Wow Dave... I was happy just to see you and your truck make it to Homecoming. Now you’re talking about racing the Sy.
Tech inspection is somewhat lenient. I think you’ll be all right the way you have it set up.
