I use what you are talking about. So far, I haven't had any issues yet since I had them fixed again. It has involved about a week of re-torquing. Had to check them every day. My ultimate solution is going to be to get a different rear end to eliminate the spacers altogether. One thing I notice, is that my rear wheel wobbles on the spacer, not sure if the wheel hub is bent or the spacers suck? Ill figure it out on of these days soon here.

No idea about the wobble unles you have a bent axle somehow.

I have always been told to mount and index the spacer to the mounted rim and tire then have the whole thing balanced.

A lot of imbalance will work the bolts loose. Good to here you got it worked out.

Hub centric is the best way to go ...but not always possible.

spacers suck plain and simple

Shoot me a PM if you really want to ditch your rear end. I got a heavily built 9" that is stock dimensions and offsets.

I can pretty much guarantee you I can't afford it. Even if I could, it would need to be an inch longer on each side so I can run my Z06 wheels w/o spacers.

Well, its like I said, if you put the wheel on the spacers, and tighten one lug all the way, its almost as if it gets pinched because you end up with the lug tight and the opposing side will have about 3/8"-7/16" gap. Know what I mean? When I pull the spacers and mount the wheel I can tighten one lug all the way and it sits totally flush.
