Mounted Laptop Pics

I'm thinking about mounting a laptop in my truck but not sure where the best place to mount it will be. I'll be buying an HP Mini 110, so i'm thinking I may be able to do a glove box mount or center console mount. Post some pics up if you got them.

Me too anybody have some pics? I am about to do the same thing with an ACER ONE.

larry you need to check out my laptop stand that i have for the buick. The guy is gonna make a base for the sy so i can use it on both.

Yea harmon did a great job on his mount. I just got a mount for my truck expect it is an older one that came out of a state trooper car. It mounts to the floor and then holds a full size laptop. I will post pics when i pic it up from my brother.

I like that idea a lot. I just need to find a way to keep my head unit while using a mount like that and I'll be in business

Here is what I did a few years ago, don't laugh.








It is basically fully adjustable took me about a day to make and cost me roughly $65. There is a different laptop on their now but you get the jist I'm sure.

I might be able to get some laptop mounts from some wrecked cop cars, It might be tough though since they recycle them to new cars when the old cars get put out of service. but it might be possible

see what you can do... I'd be interested in one. RIght now I have my laptop using my indash DVD screen as a monitor. Makes it easy to watch Datamaster, but it's a pain to use the keyboard on the seat...

That's funny because I have thinking about the very same thing! I'd prefer an app for the Blackberry though! :tup:

I can hear the commercial now "been dieing to get your syclone or typhoon tuned right and off the jackstands...? Yep, we have an app for that!"

Something else to think about when looking for these is can it stand up to repeated launching. I know mine seems a little over engineered but I really had hard launches in mind, something to think about.
