no start

Re: no start

OK, I got it started. I was perplexed to say the least. My Ty always runs amazing with a good tune and steady idle. Initally, I thought I may have not connected a ground wire on the top drivers side bell housing where the transmission bolts to the block. On my Z28 and my corvette, they both had grounds there. I did not remember one being in that spot on the Typhoon, just a wire loom which I installed.

Then, I thought, go back to basics. Spark, Fuel, Air. I had no codes. Pulled all plugs, cleaned them and they looked ok, just a little black due to a rich fuel mixture. Then, the fuel pressure regulator....I FOUND A 3 Prong connector that was disconnected...HENCE the problem...Thank You DAVE!!!!! It was near the fill tube for the transmssion and it must have unplugged during the removal of the transmission. It was difficult to see in all the mess of wires behind the FPR & distributer. Anyway, I found it and she is purring like a kitten in the garage right now :)

Thank you all for the help

Re: no start

As much as I would like to...I"m still having transmission issues. I have great line pressure, however, when I disconnect the TV cable and pull on it to see if the psi will increase, I only get 120 psi no matter how hard I pull on the TV cable. PSI should reach up to 240 as soon as I pull the line. PSI does increase if I have the RPM's up and then pull on the line. My line psi should increase as soon as I tug on the TV line so something in the TV acutator is not right :( SO..........I gotta put it up on the rack, drain the fluid and inspect the TV actuator in the valve body
