Nick, If have not been before I think you will be blown away at all you will see.
I usually start at the convention center inside and work my way thru the parking lot show there and then head directly to the inlet show. All the locations are in that link I posted. $15 ticket gets you in the Convention Center and the Inlet Show both. (Was $10 it just went up). There is plenty to see if you don't do the shows.
The evening I go to the Ice Cream Palace (Near Hooters 123rd St.) there is a show there also in the parking lot. I usually plant myself there and watch the cars cruising by on the street for the remainder of the night. We usually all meet up there. Parking is a pain in the ass but worth the wait. I just try to have patience with the parking situation.

Hope the weather is nice!

Take a look around yourself for cops before doing a burnout in the water boxes the residents have set up in the streets. Remember cops are on bikes, horses and motorcycles too!

Yeah my buddy Mike said it gets out of control sometimes. I have heard lots of stories and seen many pictures. I don't plan on doing anything stupid but I do plan on having a good time. I'll send you a message and we'll try and set up a plan to possibly drive down together.

I will be there with my wife from Wednesday night until Sunday morning. We are in the old motel right at the inlet. Pretty much right across the street from the inlet parking lot. Stop by and/or meet up anytime during the weekend. PM me for my contact info if you want it.

I'm definitely going to be there saturday. I think I remembered to ask for friday off... I'll have to check

I'm going to be there in the STi. Typhoon has too much rust to be shown off to the public. :(

Thanks to Dennis (crazykaese) and Patti for letting us park in their hotel parking lot. (saved us hours of looking for a parking spot!) It was fun hanging out with both of you.

I didn't even bring a camera. Mike took some pictures with his phone. His subject matter is mostly blown up cars. I don't know if he took anything else. Maybe he will post up some pictures later. I heard there was a Syclone there that left on a flatbed with 4 flat tires? How did that happen? Maybe just a rumor. I haven't seen the pictures yet. There was a CTS-V there Supercharged with Nitrous that blew up he showed me pictures of that one. I only went for the day. It was a good day. It started to spit rain about 10:30pm so we took that as a sign to leave. Saw lots of odd vehicles and got to hang out with everyone so good.

Re: Ocean City, Maryland ~May 14th-17th

I saw the syclone with the flats. I thought it had 2 front flats with bent wheels and both front fender flares were thrown in the bed. I'm not sure how that happened. I have a couple pictures of it but they are not that clear since it was at night.

That broken scone belongs to my friend Danny. A car cut around a bus and ran into him. I'll find out more soon.

Re: Ocean City, Maryland ~May 14th-17th

I'm that lucky guy but thankfully best case scenario worked out. Ate a curb instead of making a vehicle sammich. Soooooo expensive tow bill later and the disgust of being in OC for only 10 minutes when this happened... I need as follows for starters

Two SyTy wheels
4 tires (may as well add a 4th)
Both front fender arches
Pass side Syclone rocker panel
Front bumper cover
Driver side foglight mount (may be able to rehab)
Passenger side U/L ball joints (took initial impact)

Parts I'll probably need till I drive it after acquiring said parts will be with control arms and steering components.

So! I'll upload some pictures of the cladding and wheels in case anybody would be interested in acquiring them to rehab them or use them for filler pieces or repairing other panels.

Sorry to hear about the bad luck! Good you are ok.

Contact Sportsmachines he should be able to help you on probably most of those items either to repair or replace.

Renzfab has the fog light brackets in Stainless (improved) if you cannot fix yours.

I had a great time! You could not beat the weather this year! Too bad I couldn't bring both the Syclone and the galaxie. I had to bring the galaxie to drive the family around. I did not see one typhoon or Syclone for the 4 days I was there.

Re: Ocean City, Maryland ~May 14th-17th

I only saw a red/gray SoGT parked around 45th street hotel garage on Thursday and then Keith's white Ty at my hotel on Saturday. Real nice weather. I had the perfect hotel location right on the inlet. Parking was no issue and safe. We have the same hotel booked for the fall. Anybody coming down in the fall should stop by.
