Re: ok help me spend my $3,000 limit for mods
Allen definately has a strong truck, even in T1 it pulled pretty good. He already has a great base truck with all the upgraded parts to start going for the bigger mods, he just wants some feedback on where to begin for the mods.
8.4s @ 83 at the POS strip near us is hella good.
Definately going to get the chip tweaked on by Hood at our Daytona meet and go through the fuel tables, spark and timing at WOT....gaurantee that should drop you a tenth or 2 at least.
The Alky will definatley help as far as keeping MATs and knock low and being able to crank boost.
Those 9lb rims you said you want will make a diff
Dont know how you feel about having the spare tire with the assembly under the truck, and the jack equipment, but that will drop you quite a few pounts to be able to gain a few hundreths.
Rear sway bar or caltracs - Ive had both... sway bar was the best $100 instantly felt mod, the caltracs where also an instant felt mod. Most opt for the sway bar due to price.... either or I think is a good investment.
Lighter rear driveshaft.... you saw my DynoTech Aluminum one today
