i believe mostly more development time with the ignition and fuel curves.
There were some graphs posted showing the differenced

There was a fix for a lean idle stumble in the BBZB cal.

I generally use BBZB for everything, Sy or Ty.
To be technically correct, AYBN is the most current Sy cal, however.

I hear there are some proto '92 Sy cals floating about, but I never actually got one.
The ESC chip was also rumored to have been cal'd differently on these as well.

One more thing... the "NM8" cal is technically 6502DOAC. NM8 is a vehicle option configuration, not a cal broadcast code.

dig, clear something up for me.

i have a AEM wb and it puts out a 0-5v.
if the innovate puts out 0-5v.
is it the same patch?

Dig....I'll put up the '92 Syclone cal. I did all the initial chip work on the blk/grey '92 and have the modified and unmodified bins at home. There were SEVERAL oddities with that truck that we noticed once we started pulling it apart. I believe the chip cal was one such oddity.

No, not necessarily. There were 2 revisions of the AEM - both with different WB to voltage curves.

Example - 2.0 volts out of one box means 10.5:1, out of the other 12.5:1. (Not the actual numbers, but you get the idea)

Both output 0-5v ranges, but what the voltage *means* is something entirely different.

Unfortunately, none of the WB manufacturers standardized on a voltage-> AFR mapping,
which is why there are so many patches. The newer wide-bands have programmable outputs, (Like the Innovate) so the output can be programmed to be whatever you want.

Both the new and the old AEM wide-bands are supported with a patch. $59 supports both as well.

Cool. Did you happen to record the # on the White ESC board next to the PROM?

Did the PROM have a broadcast sticker on it? (Probably handwritten)

I think John Koss had a couple odd-ball proms in his stack of stuff, if I remember right.

I can get the # on the white board later today, but IIRC, the sticker was handwritten. Don't quote me on that but I believe it was. I snapped twelve-teen-thousand pics of that truck, so I'm sure I have evidence somewhere on a HDD. I'll throw that info up asap.

with a few simple mods.. it allows the ecm to work and adjust to a wide band oxy sensor
and to allow data master to log correct air : fuel ratios

Well partially correct.

A patched stock style bin, lets you datalog WB O2 voltage along side normal engine data. It won't do closed loop or auto correction. It does let you match up actualy O2 so you can make adjustments.

Now code59 well you will see in a bit, it does more.

Are you saying that this code 59 thing will let my innovative wb work with DM like oem would with a narrowband?

Grimgrak- It will allow your wideband to work with your factory ECM, so you can command nearly any AFR vs RPM vs load (KPA). It will not, however, work with datamaster.

Re: Patched Stock Binaries available

So if your running it now does that mean it's aviaible to the public?

Nope, not yet. Several of us beta testers have had $59 running for a while to get the bugs out for the public release.
