Okay guys, registration is now live. It's a pretty simple, 13 question form that will update the Shindig database. There's no payment option at time of registration as I didn't feel we needed to integrate a bunch of payment APIs, or Verisign encryption, or any excessive php/cgi scripting when this is a relatively small event. Instead, the administration will handle payment and registration listing on an individual basis, and I'll make myself personally responsible for ensuring that all registered individuals are contacted about payment. As of right now, the rates listed on the site are what we're shooting for at this time. If things change, you'll be notified.
As a result of some of the unknowns still left out there (date, cost, etc...), payment notices will sent out starting February 1st, 2008. Nothing will be due until that date, and the registration will work as a glorified list of attendees until then.
So, go register. If you're unsure about the number of guests, then just make a guess and contact the admin later if you decide more or less in needed. If this happens after payment is made, then you'll be billed/credited accordingly.
