Look at it like this: 2200 miles round trip. 10 miles to the gallon X 2.80 gal/gas = $616.00 + $99 X 3 nights for the room + Trailer ? =$200.00 + tolls + registration + food + beer + misc. Makes it hard to justify a 4 day trip. Yes, I'm a wuss, a cheap one.

Only someone from Kansas would say that. What will you spend? Remember, I'm from Jersey. 1200 miles to your east. Didn't say I cannot afford the trip. I owe these things because I don't spend money on a whim. Each vacation is carefully planned. I have a family to consider and if you own a sy or ty you can only imagine the cost of owning both. The escalade is not cheap either. NO, I don't own a trailer. But renting one will cost some bucks. I got 21 miles to the gallon driving my sy out last year. Won't do that again. With the price of gas and the MPG of the caddy, I will spend at least three times the amount I did last year. Is it worth it? Dunno... still deciding.
