I'd post the before pics too...but didn't want to waste that much of your time.

i'm running out of things to sand and wire brush. Guess thats a good thing. Next task is the entire frame...since i can do that after the engine is in I'm in no rush to start that task.

Better get the insides of the frame rails right around the mounts better.
Thats surely not gonna be easily accessible with a block strapped in there.

This is only FYI Do as U like
Using a steel wire brush or steel wool on aluminum is not a good idea due to small bits of steel embedding in the aluminum which causes dissimiliar metal corrosion. Best bet is synthetic brush or the 3M scotchbrite wheels.
