I have a few options one is to go with a 20g turbo. And one is a 17c with billet wheel what are the advantages of both and disadvantages. Not wanting to do a converter right now.

20g Is Perfect with a Stock Converter Would not go any Higher Lag is terrible. Also Recommend a SportMachines Forge Wastegate. Will reduce the Lag as well and offer consistent 17psi

Depends on how big the exhaust side is. 20g-14cm you're going to have a lot of lag with stock converter. Ask me how I know.

Not sure you can even get a 14cm2 housing anymore if you tried, I've been looking for them for while?

You could spool the 14cm2 housing up if you had the chip set up right or were using a custom boost controller. That said, it would certainly be a lot easier with a 12cm2 or 10cm2. Also, if you have a bigger cam/heads, you'll be able to spool that housing at a lower RPM.

It was a thing at one time to put an 8cm2 housing on them, but I wouldn't personally recommend it.

Would be really neat to see a turbine housing pressure graph of an 8cm vs. a 12 or14. Also, pressure with the 9 blade exhaust wheel vs. the 11 blade.

I took some pressure data on the GN recently with a .63 (garrett) housing, and I was surprised at how good the TIP ratio was. Worst-case was like 1.65, and that was running 26 psi. I would have bet good money that it would have been north of 2.0.

On My Gn the P.Ratio is about 1.5 thats with a 76mm compressor and 1.44 t4 AR side. Switching the ar to 1.01 the PR went to 2.2 about but the different in spool up time is about 1 second slower on the big housing.
