Saw a 454 ss and a early 90's vette (pace car) sell last night and was wondering if anyone knew of any syty selling on the auction.


I though it would be interesting to see what a good shape one would go for or even a marlboro.

No SyTy this year. Saw a couple Turbo Regals though.

I'm heading to the auction tonight and will be their the rest of the week. If I see any SyTy's I'll post some pics and let you now what they (if any) go for. A friend of mine bought a Ty back in 05' from the auction. It had a custom paint, rims, stereo 5400 original miles and paid $25k. He brought it back home and it was stolen 2 weeks later. :( Thank god for insurance.

No pics I'll have him find some if he still has them. The Ty was found about a month later completly gutted out, everything but the bady was gone. About a week after they found it all the parts started showing up on ebay from this state Colo. Needless to say their still in jail for that one.
I'll look for some trucks and let you guys now in the morning.

Snap some pics of the ZR-1 :tup: Lot 1316 if that helps you find it. :cool: I'm wondering if they are going to auction a blue one or a black one.

Knowing it will retail for above $100k, without dealer markup, I wonder where the bidding will start. Also, knowing you would have ZR-1 #001, I bet it goes for quite a bit. :cool:

The Marlboro Corvette is a ZR-1 as well. Whats funny is the ZR-1 guys don't seem to give a shit about the Marlboro ZR-1 like we do with the Marlboro Sy's. Its probably due to the Marlboro Syclone had a lot of unique parts while the only thing not readily available is the Marlboro ZR-1 Wheel. Their is also Marlboro Camaro IR0C-Z

I remember the Marlboro C4 being posted before, but I didn't remember it being a ZR-1. That's cool. Were there 10 of them as well? Now I'll have to go dig up that post. :lol:

It's a good thing they replay the auction over and over and over. My wife will let me keep the Typhoon, but watching car auctions for 4 hours is not a limit I want to test. :lol:

My dealer should be getting one of those challengers in a month or so. They sayed they were selling on ebay for 2x sticker
