Jimmy harrassed me while working and I came home to find him in my driveway with his hood partially hidden with a big bag of ice. First run from a dig.....UGLY to say the least. He took off like a rock out of a slingshot. Second run from 35.....UGLY to say the least. Third run from 40.....better in my power range but still only churning 2,600 rpm. Alot closer run but he still was out front at around 110 mph. If I am convinced of anything, it is this. First, a stock Sy or Ty would be no problem since Jimmy was maxxed out and running his truck super hard. Second, when I roll the Sy out next month, I'm gonna squash Jimmy like a japanese beetle so he can see how it feels to smell exhaust fumes! Third, SRT/10's are big pigs!!

i love it a 10 cylinder money pit.... beat by a 6cylinder 15 yr old money pit....

Great account guys...incl. the banter leading up to it! Love reading kills like this - they moytivate me to get off my arse & go through w/ my build.

TBone - way to take it like a mann (no pun intended.) I like the SRT10's, but 500HP, 5000+ lbs & a 6 speed just aren't conducive to good short times.

Jimmy, as others have said, way to represent! Your Ty is a freak (taking nothing away from how well you appear to have it dialed in.)

Thanks for the props guys.My truck runs decent (high 11/low 12) but it's really nothing special.

It felt great to STOMP ALL OVER 500 HP from a roll :tup:

That is true from a dig but you're are getting delusional from a roll. How about we video tape a run for the guys Monday afternoon if the weather is nice. For their viewing pleasure, we can even go from a dig again as well. I got tickled watching you fully erect in your Ty, trying to stand on the brakes and build boost before counting to 3 with your fingers when the conditions were fully in your favor. Hate to bust on you but line up at the stop light and let's go when it goes green. For the record, at 35 mph, I still waited on you to build build and give the countdown after conditions were fully in your favor (regarding your Typhoon). All in all, I was impressed though. I have never seen your truck run better and the hole shot was humiliating to say the least!! Let me know when you descend back down to normalicy.....I see you are still floating above cloud 9 after the kills.

Lest Jimmy's head gets so big he can't fit through his door to get to work this afternoon, I'll refrain from everything Andrew said BUT he was glowing with exhilaration. Said Jimmy was in the Ty saying, "Was that a kill or what?" and "How fast was I going cause I was too scared to look" and then something like "Who's your.....I mean, where's your Daddy?" HAHA, JK about the latter 2 statements. He had a blast and Jimmy deserves credit for taking him. After all, that was another 70 lbs of dead weight he was launching with.

You make it sound like you were beside me,it really doesn't matter how far BEHIND me you were,because that's where you were,in my rearview mirror.

I don't wanna waste my time running the pig again,but racing your Syclone should be fun.

I am tempted to pull it out of the garage without plates and smoke him just to shut him up BUT he does need some time to gloat in his victory against the SRT/10. He's a good sport but I don't know if he will subject himself to the abuse he will receive should he ever line up next to the beast!
