turbo question

i just got my sy and as i was told its fully stock. But i hear stock should be running around 14.7 psi peak boost.. and when i got it a buddy did a dyna master on the truck and it was only getting, i guess 11 psi peak boost. I was wondering why it could be like that?

There could be many reasons for that low boost condition, welcome to the sy/ty world! Do a search in this section and start that way because as i stated there could be many reasons for it :tup: .

check all vac. lines, yes there are alot of them, could be one of the vary small ones that came off at some point. check that the WG is working right. just my .02

Find out if the stock saudi chip is still in it.

Sounds a bit like your WG solenoid plumbing is messed up though, or the WG arm is stuck open.
