I really want to try this at nats '13. For some reason or another I didnt do it at Nats '11.... But I will for sure will this time.. And I got a gopro black try out. Though I was with others saying 'how in the world do you follow the coarse with cones everywhere' hahahaha

I almost forgot, for those of you that dont know, when doing autocross, you have to work for it, literally. Meaning they do 2 heats, i am always in 2nd heat, so it means I works 1st heat, which basically consists of chasing cones, and putting them back in their correct spot. Obviously you stand at safe distances, and NEVER turn your back on a car. This picture was taken exactlly where I was standing when a chick driving her bf s miata lost it. Pretty intense haha

When autocrossing. Whch set if tires should I use. I have the stock wheels with bridgestone re750 tires in stock size or my 18" wheels which are 315 in the rear and 275 in the front?

Come down to Savannah and autocross with me. I run once a month down here and try to run once a month up in Atlanta. Haven't been running the Syclone (it's down for some upgrades), but I'm still out there racing nonetheless.

What have you been driving with the Sy down? I may be able to do that in a couple of months, when the woman and my kid head up to New York for the summer. Any weekend I am not working is family time...her rules! I need to make sure the Ty is running right first too...I gotta get off my lazy a$$ for that one though!

I get a good bit of seat time with a guy down here in an '04 M3, but since I'm not running for points, my PAX goes under his #. Also, since I'm not running for points, I try to get a run in as many different cars as possible. This year has been good....R35s, M3s, Factory Five Roadster, Mazdaspeed Miatas, Evos, STIs, etc...

Other than that, it's fun just hanging out.

Some of the guys I have known for years, but all of them I met through autocrossing. Building the level of trust and respect to have them toss me the keys was done over years. I didn't just show up, tell a GTR owner they have a badass car, and get to drive it. Some guys see you do well in an AWD vehicle and wonder if you could push out a better time in their AWD vehicle than they can. That's how the STI and EVO rides came about.
