I looked at it and wondered if the left front tire had lost a few pounds over the Winter... looked outside at the frickin' snow falling and decided not to waste my time checking the pressure..... :(

removed PS bracket, installed hydroboost lines, reattached PS bracket, installed PCS TCU under centre console and re-attached console. Mocked up rear and removed internal quarter for battery relocate tomorrow/Tuesday, removed AC box to gain access for heater core replacement and AC box replacement. Phew....

I actually MOVED my typhoon today, about 25 feet. Took a battery charger on 40 amps AND a fully charged jumper pack to get it going :D

I haven't tried that. I did actually get to drive mine the other day - down the ramp attached to the winch :D

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Today I hacked up my shifter console to fit my PCS Trans Controller in. I read thru and looked at the pictures from other people who did this install. I of course have to do things the hard way...

I cut the sides out of the console metal piece in the space between the shifter and the storage box in the console. It was too tight to fit in there so I cut, bent the metal out and welded in some scrap pieces to make it fit.

Got my FAST XFI system here and plan on installing it this week. Finish up my Intake manifold conversion setup and intercooler pipes so I can start it up.
Hope to have the wife back in it with in a month.
Cheers!

I put the suspension back together after the truck sat in my driveway for a week under a cover. The updates to Turbotime's stock a-arm coil-over kit work great, the install is a little harder but overall i'm very happy with the changes.

how hard is the install, how much modding does it require with the stock a-arms?
what about the ride quality, did you go with the dual spring setup, or what spring rate did you get...
sorry about all the questions but i want to order a set next week and don't know what ones to go with

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

No pics but mocked up the motor with upper intake, Upper IC (to align brackets), (stock for now) turbo, first piece of DP, Dist., some other stuff. Then got called to work. Next will route and secure plug wires. (Much easier with motor not in truck.) Will post some pics as the thing actually goes together.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

I bought a fp gauge, checked fp, redid some vac lines, rerouted some other wires that previous owner did poorly, I found the terminal on my coil was shot, replaced that with a spare that I had, replaced poor cap and rotor, removed my manual boost control and hooked up the vac lines the the stock boost controller. No engines codes and perfect boost pressure!

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

i sandblasted and powdercoated all of my control arms, sandblasted all the bolts/washers/nuts. Also powder coated my steering bar, water neck, ic bars, water pump pulley and alt brace. Also bolted up my manual brake master cylinder. Derusted the output shaft of my 4l80e.

thats like 4 months work for me...all in 1 day!
