Battery grommet on the battery tray to prevent the live wire chafing and burning my truck to the ground.

Replaced rear drum pistons with new manual pistons.

Replaced a working master cylinder with a remanufactured one from Auto Zone and despite the same part number, it was a different size and didn't work as expected.

It's coming out and we (Keith) and I are going to have to do it again.

I WILL have proper brakes.

Interior is totally out.
Debating on taking the dash out, It is challenging, but I have gone this far, so why not.

attempting to fix the botch job the machine shop did drilling my vortec heads. The heat is not helping me get motivated.

Got under it and de-greased it a couple times, then pressure washed it. Probably hosed off 2-3lbs of old oil and road grime. Gonna put it up in the air tomorrow and hit with stronger degreaser and a brush. Want to coat all the backend with POR15

Installed the sweet new steering shaft from RPM. This was the final original wearable piece of the front steering and suspension. Everything else has been replaced or upgraded. It steers much better. No more 1/4 turn of nothing. Then I took my wife and daughter to the park. It was the first time she had been in the truck for quite some time. I think my truck is running the best it ever has while I have owned it.

Nothing, I did nothing. Still waiting on lines for the transmission cooler move. (Hurry up, Summit)

But, I did go pick up a old school Whipple charger from Waller's dad, it's for the Cameo. Big thanks Waller.

now that i finally got my IA Temps consistently 110F or better, i decided to follow suit after reading a thread using a boat drain plug, and not gonna worry about the temps reaching boiling point, the lip on my Upper IC is looking shady ( worn) and the caps don't seal the greatest, ( ill keep the cap with me just incase) this way i don't have to worry about it leaking on my turbo and smoking, i found one at my local marine shop actually had to buy 2 different ones, 1 for the 3/4 rubber size for the hole and one for the clasp, the t-handle type works the best. this is all just to hold me off till i can yank it to have a new neck welded on,

I installed all new balljoints in NCTYPHOON's truck today. does that count?

I finally put my engine on the stand and installed my FPR, Fuel Rail and Water Pump today.

I watched as DaveP installed the Bilsteins and removed the old trans. The company that built the new one forgot to bring it to Veterans Stadium in Long Beach, otherwise we'd be done today! They're gonna ship it tomorrow for free. Hopefully Wed. everything will be good to go!

Dave also found an oil leak from the turbo line and is going to fix that to! Thanks Dave. All I need to do after is touch up some of the paint and get new tires and she should be good for another couple years. Oh yea, and I need to strangle that duck - with the one-way valve deal on the brake booster. THEN she should be solid! ;)

Changed the Plug wires and now she is purring. no more lumpy idle. Replaced the Excels with cheapy Autozone brand. Who would of thought it would run better? lol

Drove it to New Jersey to help autoaddictions pull his motor (due to blown head gaskets) and on the way home blew the head gaskets out of DieselTy. Looks like the motor is getting pulled. This sucks.
