Hey Dig, Try Syclone0209 (Dave).... he just got done pulling his off (he went with RPM headers).

I think they are very similar or the same as the ones on the stock 4.3's... I wish I would have known... I just threw away a BS 4.3 with spun rod bearings yesterday....

Nope. Just got back from the yard (have the wet socks to prove it).. regular 4.3s are different.
At least the ones I saw, anyway.

Dig, you might be able to get some from the Stearlership. I bought some a few years ago.

There's actually 2 part #s, a single and a double-plug.

14081241 lock tab
14081242 lock tab

There's 1 of the one, and 5 of the other.

Which one is which part #?

Hey I've been blessed with the opportunity to reinstall my spark plug heat shields, anyone got a tip on how to keep them from twisting out of position when you tighten the manifold bolts? Mine twisted and got in the way of the spark plugs but the manifolds are so damn tough to get on it's unavoidable....or?
