Wow, you really got your feelings hurt, huh. It's Valentine's Day so I will spread the love and say sorry. It was not my intent to get you within heart attack range. Gotta go find all this money now you claim I have .

Feelings? Nah, you know how I get about this stuff, I mean really you have been on here almost as long as me. All in all, I don't really care "why" I beat the guy. That has been an argument so many times. Lets just say I was at the track and beat your Z06 because you missed a shift, almost lost control, track sucked what ever. You still lost. So to me, in my little world, the fact that he may have had something wrong means nothing. If you someone is going to pick a fight they shouldn't have any excuses when they lose. Just like back in 2005 when I raced a modded WS6, I couldn't build any more than 7psi at the line because I needed to adjust my rear drums. I lost to that guy by about 3 to 4 cars at the 1/4 mark. I didn't get out and bitch because I knew that if I had a better 18psi launch I would have done better. It was what it was. And that is the way it is.:tup:

Remember this was with the 61mm turbo! Its now got the 6766 CEA turbo! Do some research.I really dont think im gonna be much of a slouch!! I really dont think the average bolt on Z06 is gonna give me any problems now!!

Yep, you raced a slow C5 and beat it.....congrats. Go tangle with a C6 Z06 and post your video's.

Here's one stock and one modified on pump gas. Mine is about in the middle of these......do be careful what can of worms you open. I could easily drive this to the Shindig and romp you on the track and auto-X, insteading of bringing the Aspen and doing the same thing .

Highly doubt you would be a slouch at all. Just not convinced you can cross the 1/4 trap 1st. Twould be real close and who knows, you could pull it off.....but not against me (grin). Are you near Vengeance Racing on the outskirts of Atlanta? Might be down there in June for an upgrade. Maybe we can hook em up then.

I am not upset. Shaun didn't even need to apologize. I know I seem like I get really pissed and maybe I do for a second or two but, I don't hold any grudges. Shaun keeps saying happy VDAY like I am on fire over here, I'm actually quite calm. And what a happy VDAY its going to be, talking the ole wife to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and a nice day/evening up in Denver. And we are taking the Typhoon!! Hopefully we'll see a couple SYTY folk up there and hang out a little.

Any way, you can tell when I get mad because I start swearing a lot and maybe calling people names. :lol:

i raced a terminator (couple bolt ons) back in the day with my Trans Am. dude was only going high 12's @ around 107ish.. highest mph was 109 over about 7 runs.

when i raced the M5, i put 2+ car lengths on him at a 20mph roll and he reeled me in at 75mph. that was at 13psi on the 20g with no boost launch, straight 14cm2 slow spool on the stock converter. M5's are mid 12's@115mph cars.

point is, TYTILIDIE's Ty is much faster than mine. no doubt in my mind, TYTILIDIE pulled 4 car lengths even if the cobra had bolt ons.

Ill chime in. Zo6's put 470-480 to the ground, stock. No mods or flashes. My buddy owns a dyno shop. Cobras at fast, but not really stock. Mod easily though. I believe Mike did what he said. At least seems feasible to me.
