Thanks, we got bumped a few times and it was a quite a while little longer than I wanted but Mark Williams always comes through with a great product!

I have the last two boxed up ready to go. The last one is still up for grabs. I will give gt42rsy another few days to chime in...

There may be one left - There were 14 made and one was damaged in the internal splining process. I think it is just missing one of the internal splines but I have not seen it in person. I may just keep it for myself and let mine go. I will have more info later...

Ok, let me know. Please PM me if you end up with the extra one, I will definitely take it!

Re: Mark Williams 32 Spline input shaft group purchase DONE!!!

Due to a lot of PM requests i am looking at doing another round of at least 10 4340 heat treated 4l80e input shafts, these will also work on a 32 spline turbo 400 as well, all work is done in house so no delays for treating after the machining.

There have been questions on what this is for - This input shaft is the critical part on being able to put a 4l80e transmission in the Syclone or Typhoon. A 4l80e is much more capable of handling the torque that our motors make but has a 32 spline output shaft. Many people have converted to the 4l80e and have resplined the output shaft of the transmission to 27 splines. This has proven problematic and many have twisted the resplined output shaft on the 4l80e transmission.

To resolve this issue this community came up with the idea of making a new 32 spline input shaft for the transfer case that will mate with the standard 32 spline output shaft of the 4l80e. The huge benefit of this 32 spline input shaft is that the transfer case is very easy to work on, compared to a transmission and the input shaft can be replaced without any special tools. There are few threads here with detailed pictures of the dissasembly and reassembly.

Due to low quantity the price may seem high but thanks to a fellow sytyer we should be able to come in cheaper than the last round by $50! The price will be $575 dollars per shaft.

The shafts will be made by mark williams a world class producer of custom driveline parts and assigned a part # and added to his catalog.

When i ship them all of these will be insured for the replacement cost of one shaft which is nearly $1200.

A refundable deposit of $300 dollars is required. My paypal is aaronptimm@yahoo.com

I'm needing this shaft myself and ready/willing to put the deposit on the part. Can you please confirm that this is still an option and when I could expect to receive the shaft once the order has been placed? Also, is there a number in which I can call you on directly? Thanks in advance- Gatman

These are all gone and will probably not be another run for another year or so. I cannot afford to do a run of ten which is his minimum for the 575 pricing...

These also seem to take about 2 months to make. They are not a high margin piece...

I would suggest placing a wanted post...

My thought is to try again closer to tax refund time. It's only cost effective at 10 units...

Since I havent even got one of these I will take one so we would only need 6 more!

Got the quote in... Ugh... Price went up $55 each unless I can get to a quantity greater than 15...

So these would cost $625 each...

Any other people that might be interested?
