Re: front diff gear ratio change? wow i feel like an idiot now, i have been studying sytys for 5 years now and i was under the impression that they have LSDs front and rear (true AWD). thank you for clearing up my ignorance.

Re: front diff gear ratio change? if you have an automatic and a turbo from what i have gathered you wont gain much if anything at all from a gear change, try changing your tire size first. if i am correct the taller your tire is the higher your gear ratio is. someone correct me if i am wrong

before i get flamed for wanting to change the gear ratio, keep in mind that i am running a N/A 6.0 with a manual trans. does anyone know if i would need any spacer of sorts to put a sy/ty front diff in my 3.73 axle?

ok i have searched and have found no deffinate answer. i am converting my clone to a hydroboost, i plan on using a unit from an Astro. now i know it hooks into the P/S pump but what goes to what? how is it routed?
