hey guys... ready to turn up the boost a bit any play with some settings on the tunerpro and turbotweek chip. any advice??? where to start?? i been reading the booklet with chip and says everythings adjustable from a handheld which i dont have lol.. any help please :)

What is S/D calc? Is it that 1/4 mile calculator thing thats built into Datamaster?

Is there anything like that for TunerPro? If not is it possible to import tuner-pro logs into datamaster and do these calculations?

Will be back at tuning again this year. April 6th is opening day at strip and I plan on being there.. My goal this year is high 11s. But I kno I won't get it right off bat.. I'd be happy hitting 12s. Now I have a few questions bout that turbotweak chip. I would like to turn the boost up to 18. I have plenty of access to 93 octane and can get 106 pretty easy just expensive.. I read in manual I can set my Target boost, this is my boost overall correct? And setting this to a different setting do I have to play with fuel settings or does it do it automatically? Also do have to use a scan tool or can I change settings on this via data master or tuner pro? I have a lot to learn from tuner pro since I barely even got program installed last season before it snowed

Came across someone selling the 56-440-8 cam for 200bucks.. Brand new in box. Would this be a good cam for my setup? Any special rockers or rods need done for this? Worth the money to buy and install?

I did check that thread but his motor is built differently then mine since I have stock heads and turbo and stall

That cam you spec'd is for a balance shaft motor. Our's is a non-balance shaft motor... unless you've done a swap with a newer engine into your Ty.

Haven't swapped.. But for future reference I do have a complete 4.3 w/ vortec heads for a 96..

Thanks for clearing that up for me though
