Re: Ontario Meet

I'm up for whatever works for everyone, either day is good for me so far.

I haven't been to the Waterdown swap meet in years, not sure I would want to leave my Sy or Ty in the parking lot though.

Waterdown is now held in Rockton and show cars are parked on a grass field beside the swap meet. I think I heard its 3 day show this year. I am up for what ever as well. I moved to Niagara Falls and have 8.5 acres. I can supply a car for the women folk to go to Niagara on The Lake shopping. I am not central located but I`ll put this out there. Maybe plan early for next year with firm date.Get some western New Yorkers to cross the ditch for a visit

Re: Ontario Meet

What sucks is the evening on saturday I have a function that i have to attend. So for me if its in the evening saturday I would have to pass.... I kept thinking it would be during the day saturday if that was the chosen day.

Re: Ontario Meet

I have Sunday plans, but it sounds like everyone could make late Sat. afternoon. Maybe 4pm?
Rob, what time do you need to vanish for your commitment?
Derek, could you be out here by 4:30 if you left after work?

Hamilton is a little further for Derek, but a little closer for everyone else...

Re: Ontario Meet

Alright, why don't we try and nail something down here before the week is over. Let's try for Saturday at 3:00 in Hamilton area. I don't know the surroundings well, so do we still want to hit 5 Guys Burgers? Are they licensed? Might be nice to have a pint while socializing...

All in favour say "I" :)

Re: Ontario Meet

I'm game, as far as I can remember, 5 guys isn't licensed, just a great burger joint. If you are looking for something licenced, maybe Turtle Jack's on Upper James?

Re: Ontario Meet

I know Hamilton fairly well, off the top of my head there is Turtle Jacks, Hooters, the Keg at Upper James and the Link, Lonestar and Montana's near the 403 and the Link where Costco is. On the Burlington side there is Tuckers Marketplace at Guelph line and the QEW, there are also Boston Pizza,s everywhere lol. Five Guys is in the Stoney Creek area, where the Link and Red Hill Valley meet. There's a start, what's everyone's opinion?

Re: Ontario Meet

Ok so any one else have a preference? Five Guys has awesome food, but no beer, so if anyone wants to have a drink this isn't the place. They do have a pretty large parking lot, so should be lots of room to park.
