well, I just put myself on the maybe list as well. I might be taking another boat down to Florida like I did last year and I might be leaving as early as this Wednesday which means there is no chance in hell I will be in NJ this weekend

Im gonna call Hooters tomorrow and let them know we are coming this Saturday though. :tup:

Ok, slight change of plans. I'm still coming, but the Ty has a leaking front differential (this is what happens when Morgan stands near it I guess), so I may be there in the pickup instead. If Smaug ever gets around to stopping by my place, I'll even have some crap to deliver with me.

Ok, slight change of plans. I'm still coming, but the Ty has a leaking front differential (this is what happens when Morgan stands near it I guess), so I may be there in the pickup instead. If Smaug ever gets around to stopping by my place, I'll even have some crap to deliver with me.

shit, someone give Hooters a call and just tell them we have a truck club meeting up there and its gonna be about a party of 20 and we'll be there Saturday around Noon. They usually put you on the phone with a manager, just tell him we're there every year, ect ect, and they just give us the back section.

According to accuweather.com they are expecting 1-3 inches on Thursday night and 3-6 inches on Friday. Those are going to be some messy roads!

they dont have a clue what the weather is gonna do, ill believe it when i see it..... or well, wont see it in this case.

besides the meet is on SATURDAY!!! Not thursday or friday. :roll:

But for some of us members that don't drive our trucks in those conditions,it doesn't look good.If we do get anything significant,I doubt it'll be gone in a day.

Ok, that wasn't nearly as painful as I thought. That was actually spilled motor oil on my axle, not fluid from my diff. Also, apparently rotating both driveshafts 180deg fixed the vibration that started me looking in the first place, so my Ty should be back in service after work tonight.

Did anyone make the call to Hooters yet since Morgan didn't get a chance? If I don't hear back by 4pm today, I'll do it. I just don't want to be the 37th guy to call and reserve a section for 20 !

Call made, the manager "Chris" assured me that there should be no problems. Obviously Morgan has made this exact phone call quite a few times before.

I'm definately going with the Ty. The deepest snow I should hit is the 2 or 3 inches that the plow left up against my garage door. I will be late, so Dennis and Mike, wait around for me since I have stuff on board for both of you from Eric.
