NHSTE - I'm the only one!
Since someone asked, here is a hopefully pretty complete list of SyTy specific parts, or parts that are not and where they came from
Please help us complete the list, if I've missed anything or mixed something up, post the right answer and I will make sure to fix it
Driveline
-rear end is a standard GM 7.625”, with G80 code 3.42
-driveshaft is a Bravada part (slighlty shorter than 4x4)
-prop shaft is same as Bravada
-transfer case is stock Bravada stuff
-front diff is standard 3.42 Bravada, but the right axle tube is SyTy specific (potentially Bravada part, but unconfirmed)
-transmission is standard 4L60, but it has a different valve body, servos and clutches
-transmission cross member is SyTy specific (GM PN#15148804)
-If drive train includes motor... the block, rods, cam and crank are stock, as are the heads, for an LB4 motor. Pistons, intake/exhaust manifolds, DP, fuel rail, injectors, etc are not same. Oil pan is 4x4 tapped for turbo drain. Nodular main caps
-Half shafts are stock
-hubs are stock for a Bravada (they have a different part number, but they are interchangeable)
-brakes = stock
-Converter is higher stall than a normal S-Truck (GM PN#08691915 , is SyTy specific)
-wheels are specific
-shifter cable is SyTy specific
-Transfer case to Transmission adapter is different from 4x4 (most likely Bravada part)
Body & interior
-all the cladding is specific. Other than that, all panels interchangeable
-Bumper brackets are specific
-Fender to bumper supports are specific
-seats in Sy and 92 Ty are specific, 93 Ty seats made their way into some Blazers / Jimmys
-gauge cluster is from a 2nd gen. turbo sunbird (redline is different) with specific gauge bezel, mounting brackets and harness
-ECM is turbo sunbird as well
-console is specific to SyTy
-shifter, shift knob, shift boot, indicator lens, housing and needle are all from a 91-93 C4
-steering wheels are specific
-Radios are rare, but came in some Buicks as well
-glove box decal is specific
-exhaust / exhaust shields are SyTy specific, rear hanger on Sy is also specific
-console lid is stock S10, as are hinge and latch
-Battery tray is slightly different on Sy, but not on Ty
-Black grille letters and door hand escutheons are SyTy specific
Suspension
-front shocks are standard
-rear shocks and load leveling system are pretty much specific, may have found their way into a Bravada or two
-torsion bar pork chops are specific to SyTy
-rear leaf springs are specific to SyTy
Miscellaneous
-engine wiring is SyTy specific
-intercooler system is SyTy specific
-A/C lines to the compressor are SyTy specific but regular S10 can be used with a little reshaping
-forward most feed and return fuel lines are specific
-lower radiator hose is SyTy specific
