Ive had that happen also. Generally when it happens the original post will have 2 different timestamps like its 2 different threads.

229(3.8)v6 valve covers are the same as the ones used on the brodix preimeter bolt heads. I have a set of stamped steel covers that say Chevrolet in the garage, not sure how tall they are. I also have a set of tall steel covers that are plain.

I just saw a set of Mickey Thompson covers tonight. Comes attached to a complete 3.8. Was located in Indiana.

Same SyTy story. Bolt ons aren't readily available or cheap, neither is the cladding. Its expensive to "LS swap it". Truck is a complete basket case and now needs major mechanical components.

RPM is $365+ for covers. I wonder what Stefs would charge. I have a set of covers now but they're too tall. I have interference with the KB header and the drivers side.

By my calculations the S364.5SX-E is a good fit for the engine I'm building.

Theres some out there that are bolt on. Theres a few 3 downpipes that open up the back of the turbo also. I am going Borg Warner with my new build. I will have a modded stock turbo, 3" downpipe and billet wastegate for sale in the coming months.

Measure and see if someone can verify the brake lines. Youll play hell trying to bleed that. We put a rear disc setup on a Silverado SS in the dark, upside down. Couldn't get it bled.
