Honestly buying RPM's nitrided stock .10/.10 crank for $600 bucks took a LONG time for me to bite .... I had a forged billet Eagle STROKER 383 crank for my lt1 for that price.

Now I am glad I went that route. Seems to be the safest route for us SY/TY guys.

OK so it looks like I may have this back together in the next few weeks. I bought the forged small journal crank, magnafluxed and everything. It s 2.1 journals, I ordered Eagle H-beams, and a set of je custom pistons that will work out as 8.4:1. Also have a 4 bolt block that is .040 and may do a partial fill.
