Re: Electric fan
Haha, cool Jon....That fan works great....really pulls the air through...It'll suck start a harley  keep in mind that I'm using a vette radiator so I haven't a clue how it'll fit our stock radiator....Let me know if you need pics of my dual relay setup and/or further details on ecm control....I have it electronically setup where the IAC kicks up the idle in anticipation of the fan starting up (kinda like when you turn on the a/c or put your truck in gear)...I used the trigger wire that used to control my stock I/C waterpump.....pretty cool as best of all, cheap (<<sarcastic remark for morgan).....
SonomaGTlover said:I just got this fan for my SY. It seems like a great choice to me. The size a little narrow (by 2"...enough for 1" mounting brackets?) but the rest should fit like a glove and it's less tan 4" deep. The CFM and Amp draw both seem real good. He mentioned 3000cfm at 18amps in an Email.
Here's the auction... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=8007460929&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT
I'll let you know how it goes and try to post pics.
