I was gonna do I-90 to Wyoming, then I-25 south to Denver. Probably do 1st night stop over in Wyoming, somewhere. Maybe Sheridan. That's about 11+ hours out of spokane. Might have a couple of beds available by then if others want to crash here.

You guys have a place to stay in Sheridan if you end up coming our way... that's the route I'd take - I've driven it many times. We could also do any maintenance here before heading out if need be. :tup:

There is no homecoming this year, we are a every other year event as to not compete with National we are a regional event, there will be the spring and fall BBQs this year ( I dropped ball on fall BBQ this year) but there will be no homecoming in 2011 but there will be a HC 2012
Where has everyone been the past year, the plan all along was for a "west" nationals. Why the suprise? East coast people still have homecoming or the shindig if they are feeling left out.
I will be flying in and racing a rental

I think people mean center of the country = "closer to me", which is a problem no matter where you have it.

I agree with Dig on that.....any location that is picked for Nats is going to be great for some and horrible for others. This is one of the many reasons why local/regional events are great. It allows people to still attend get togethers that are fairly close to them and not have to encounter the burdens of cross country travel. If people can't attend this Nats, maybe they can attend the next one if it comes closer to their neck of the woods.
